My favorite phrase the past month has been “messy action.”
For me, it means taking action even if I don’t feel ready. Even if there’s fear. Even if I don’t have an exact plan.
Messy action is courageously stepping into the unknown, knowing that by taking that first step, you’re putting energy in motion.
I can’t remember a time where I actually felt ready for anything.
I planned leaving my marriage for 2 years, trying to get all the logistics worked out. Until my plan never came together, and I up and left one day, with $50 to my name, no job, no car, no home. And it was the best decision I ever made!
When I decided to leave my job recently, I just knew I had to do it. Like all my other major life decisions, there wasn’t a plan, a strategy, or much else to it…except a dream and a vision.
Taking messy action is letting go of this false idea of perfection. It’s being bold and brave.
It’s standing in your power and KNOWING you don’t have to have it all figured out. And finding a slight sense of excitement in that.
Taking messy action is ALLOWING things to unfold. It’s staying present, and trusting.
Your longing to create…something more, something different, is there for a reason!
You are being called to step into the next phase of your journey.
And by holding yourself back, getting lost in “analysis paralysis,” and not following your truth…you’re doing yourself a disservice, AND all those around you.
There’s no time like NOW.
If you’d like to step into this next phase of creation in YOUR life, let’s get on the phone, and chat about the Creative Consciousness Collective, starting 7/7.
You don’t have to have it all figured out, but you CAN have a support system in place, to guide you along the way!
